Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Manufacturing Shop Helper to join our team at a fast-paced, high-demand pipe manufacturing facility. This role supports daily production operations and requires individuals who are safety-conscious, reliable, and ready to work in a physically demanding environment.
Schedule:
- 7 days per week
- 12-hour shifts
- (Must be available to work extended hours and weekends as needed and be available to work nights and days)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist machine operators and production staff with daily tasks
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the shop
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Support production deadlines in a high-volume environment
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality standards
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 75+ lbs)
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take direction
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Familiarity with pipe manufacturing or metal fabrication processes
- Experience using measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.)
- Basic understanding of shop math and measurements
- Forklift experience (a plus, but not required)
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
