Duties
- Perform professional skincare treatments including facials, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments to improve skin health and appearance.
- Provide body waxing, hair threading, eyelash extensions, and makeup application services with precision and care.
- Conduct consultations to assess clients’ skin conditions, recommend suitable treatments, and educate on skincare routines.
- Maintain accurate medical records and client documentation using electronic medical record (EMR) systems in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Follow strict sanitation and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and product knowledge to enhance service offerings.
- Promote retail sales of skincare products by educating clients on their benefits and proper usage.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere that encourages client retention and satisfaction.
Skills
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and address client needs effectively.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation standards, infection control procedures, and safety regulations within esthetic practice.
- Proficiency in cosmetology techniques such as facial treatments, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and makeup application.
- Familiarity with advanced esthetic procedures including laser treatments, dermabrasion, and tattooing (if applicable).
- Experience using EMR systems for managing medical records accurately and efficiently.
- Knowledge of color theory for makeup application to enhance clients’ features naturally.
- Ability to educate clients on skincare routines, product recommendations, and treatment benefits.
- Sales skills to promote retail products confidently while maintaining a client-centered approach.
