Start a Career, Not Just a Job
We’re bringing on a Master Certified Technician whose job is to build the next generation of techs in our shop— and we’re hiring apprentices for him to train.
If you like working with your hands, you’re curious about how things work, and you want a trade that pays well for the rest of your life, this is the ground floor. You don’t need experience. You don’t need a degree. You need to show up, pay attention, and want to get good.
*** If you have previous experience, pay will reflect that and is open for negotiation.
What You’ll Do
- Start with the fundamentals: oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, multi-point inspections
- Work directly alongside our Master Tech — watching, asking questions, and getting hands-on
- Move up into brakes, suspension, diagnostics, and driveability as you prove yourself
- Learn Ford-specific systems, tooling, and service procedures
- Complete Ford factory certification coursework and testing
- Earn your Pennsylvania State Safety Inspection certification
- Keep your bay and the shop clean and organized
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable — you show up on time, every day
- Available to work evenings and Saturdays (required)
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Careful and detail-oriented — this work has to be right
- Valid driver’s license and a clean-enough driving record to move customer vehicles
- High school diploma or GED
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for a full shift
- Willing to complete Ford certification training and testing, and earn your PA State Safety Inspectionlicense
- Automotive school, shop class, or turning wrenches on your own car is a plus — but not required
What You Get
- $15-20/hour, full-time, paid from day one — you earn while you learn
- Direct mentorship from a Master Certified Technician — most shops throw you in a bay and forget about you. That’s not what this is. If you have previous experience pay will reflect that and is open for negotiation.
- A real path forward: apprentice → technician → certified technician, with pay increases as you advance
- Ford factory certification and PA State Safety Inspection certification — credentials that stay with youfor your whole career
- Steady year-round work at a busy dealership with a team that wants you to succeed
