Patient Care Coordinator / Front Desk Receptionist — Driftwood Dentistry

Driftwood Dentistry is a brand new husband-and-wife owned dental practice opening this fall in Ponte Vedra. Dr. Cole and Dr. Brooke Carpenter are building a family-oriented, fee-for-service practice where patients see the same doctor visit after visit — and where our team gets to help build something from day one, not step into someone else’s system.
We’re looking for a Patient Care Coordinator to be the first voice and face our patients meet. This is a foundational role on a small, close-knit team, with real opportunity to grow as the practice grows.
What You’ll Do
- Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk experience from check-in to check-out
- Answer phones and schedule appointments with an eye for filling the schedule efficiently
- Handle billing, payments, and treatment plan financial arrangements
- Maintain accurate patient records in our practice management software
- Support the doctors and clinical team to keep the day running smoothly
- Help create a welcoming, low-stress experience for every patient who walks through our doors
What We’re Looking For
- A warm, professional communicator who genuinely enjoys working with people
- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing a busy phone line and schedule
- Prior experience in dental, medical, or customer-service-heavy front office work is a plus, but not required — we’re happy to train the right person
- Comfort learning new software (practice management system experience is a plus)
- Someone who takes ownership and pays attention to the details
