As our client portfolio continues to grow, we are seeking a dependable freelance professional who can assist with website projects, updates, optimization, and ongoing website support for small businesses and organizations.
This is an independent contractor opportunity with project-based assignments. The ideal partner is detail-oriented, creative, reliable, and passionate about creating websites that help businesses grow.
Please Note: This is a freelance independent contractor opportunity. Project assignments vary based on client demand, and there are no guaranteed weekly hours. This position is ideal for freelancers, agency contractors, or professionals looking to supplement their existing workload while building a long-term partnership with a growing agency.Actual compensation will be based on completed deliverables and project agreements.
Position Overview
The Website Designer & Website Maintenance Specialist will support client website projects from updates and revisions to new website builds and ongoing maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Build and update websites using platforms such as Wix and WordPress
- Create and edit website pages, landing pages, and website content
- Perform website revisions based on client feedback
- Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and user-friendly
- Assist with basic SEO implementation
- Conduct website testing before launches
- Troubleshoot website issues as needed
- Maintain professional communication throughout projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing websites for businesses, organizations, or personal brands
- Strong understanding of website structure and user experience
- Experience with Wix preferred
- WordPress experience is a plus
- Understanding of basic SEO principles
- Ability to manage deadlines independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Portfolio demonstrating previous website work
Compensation
This is an independent contractor opportunity with project-based assignments. The ideal partner is detail-oriented, creative, reliable, and passionate about creating websites that help businesses grow. Estimated compensation equivalent: $30.02-$35.07/hour depending on project scope and experience. Actual compensation will be based on completed deliverables and project agreements.
