The Root Cafe is hiring a breakfast cook! We are an award winning restaurant focused on locally sourced ingredients and scratch cooking.
Key Responsibilities
- Timely arrival; breakfast shift starts at 6:00 AM
- Execute breakfast and brunch service with consistency, speed, and attention to detail
- Prepare and cook menu items to recipe specifications
- Complete daily prep tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen at all times
- Follow all sanitation, food safety, and storage protocols
- Support dishwashing and general kitchen cleanliness as needed
- Assist with receiving and properly storing deliveries
- Communicate clearly with front-of-house and kitchen team members
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment
