Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble components for menu items with precision and efficiency
- Cook dishes and prepare sandwiches according to recipes, presentation standards, and food safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food handling procedures
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality standards
- Ensure all food is stored correctly, following safety protocols to prevent contamination
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a deli or quick service restaurant role is highly desirable
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques
- Experience working in restaurants or the food industry, with a focus on food safety and handling
- Knowledge of prep and food service equipment and operations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with catering, serving, and kitchen experience is a plus
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a positive attitude toward culinary tasks
