Are you a dynamic, results-driven sales professional with a passion for hydraulics and industrial solutions? BVA Hydraulics is looking for an experienced Outside Sales Manager to expand our service footprint, build strong customer relationships, and drive growth.
What you'll do
Grow revenue in target markets by developing new business and expanding existing accounts
Prospect, qualify, and close new opportunities with OEMs, distributors, and end-users
Develop strategic account plans and maintain a robust pipeline
Provide technical solutions for hydraulic systems
Understand customer needs and recommend product and service solutions
Collaborate with engineering and tech support to deliver effective proposals
Manage the full sales cycle
Lead generation, product demonstrations, proposals, pricing, negotiations, and contract closing
Ensure accurate forecasting and quarterly/annual sales targets
Build and maintain relationships
Establish trust with customers through regular visits, technical guidance, and responsive service
Represent BVA Hydraulics at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
Collaborate cross-functionally
Work with service teams, parts, and manufacturing to meet customer commitments
Provide market feedback to product development and marketing
What we’re looking for
Proven outside sales experience** in hydraulics, fluid power, or industrial automation (3+ years preferred)
Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets
Technical aptitude to understand hydraulic components, systems, and applications preferred but will train the right person
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong presentation and proposal-writing abilities
Self-motivated and disciplined** with a strong work ethic
Travel readiness to cover assigned territories up to 40%
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
