JOB The IS Administrative Support Coordinator works as an administrative assistant under the direction of the IS Director. The IS Administrative Support Coordinator will coordinate and perform administrative tasks for the IS Department to include but not limited to managing active directory accounts, answering helpdesk lines, updating information for global directory and email distribution. Will create, track and make payments for purchase orders, maintain inventory of equipment, coordinate communications with staff and end-users, follow-up with customers to resolve issues, manage calendar and schedule appointments and meetings. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent and Associates degree from an accredited 2-year college or program in the area of Business, Secretarial, or closely related field.
Certification(s) Required: N/A
License(s) Required: Valid LA driver's license.
Years of Relevant Work Experience: Three (3) years work related experience or training in office practices and computers. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Must be highly computer literate with extensive experience in database management and excellent attention to detail.

Skill in the use of modern office equipment. To include, computer, copier/scanner/fax, telephone and calculator.

Skill in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint & Excel and database management

Skill in assessing customer’s area of concern and routing to correct staff person

High in customer service and the ability to deal with the public with tact and courtesy.

Ability to prepare clear and concise oral and written reports/correspondence/presentations

Ability to use basic mathematical tabulations and computations and make corrections accurately

Ability to communicate information to others both orally and in writing

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION Full time position. Typically 8 hours per day, 5 days a week; meal break daily. Some evening or overtime as required.
