Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development for infants and toddlers
- Support daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and playtime with patience and attentiveness
- Ensure a safe and clean classroom environment by following health and safety protocols.
- Engage children through interactive play, encouraging curiosity and exploration while maintaining close supervision
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences to foster trust and collaboration
- Support classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior and developmental milestones
- Help with classroom organization, including preparing materials for activities and maintaining supplies
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices
- Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid, is required or obtainable upon hire
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Strong understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare
- Excellent child supervision skills combined with patience, compassion, and enthusiasm for early childhood education
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members in a professional manner

Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour
