Position Summary
The Experienced Painter plays a vital role in delivering the exceptional craftsmanship and customer service that Stirling is known for. Working alongside a supportive team, you'll prepare and paint residential and commercial properties while maintaining a clean, safe, and professional job site.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces through scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming
- Apply paints, stains, and specialty coatings with a high level of craftsmanship
- Complete projects efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality standards
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, business owners, and coworkers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with crew members and job leaders
- Care for company equipment and materials
- Represent Stirling professionally on every job site
Performance Expectations
Successful team members consistently:
- Average 40 or more hours per week as a full-time employee
- Demonstrate flexibility by working overtime or occasional weekends when needed
- Contribute to exceptional customer satisfaction through professionalism and quality workmanship
- Produce work that meets Stirling's high standards with minimal to no callbacks
- Participate positively in periodic performance reviews and coaching sessions
- Continuously improve skills and efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of professional painting experience
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Basic professional painting tools and equipment
- Ability to work safely on ladders and scaffolding
- Ability to lift and carry painting materials and equipment throughout the workday
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
