Job Overview
The Forklift Operator plays a key role in warehouse operations by handling pallets, loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts safely, and supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory processes. This is a full-time warehouse position with immediate openings for dependable and detail-oriented workers.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to move, stack, and organize products within the warehouse
- Take ownership of your Duty to Communicate all required and relevant information to team members, supervisors, and customers
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment tasks
- Operate RF scanners to track and manage inventory accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse setting
- Support daily production and logistics needs by moving materials and staging shipments
- Work overtime as required to meet warehouse deadlines
Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1+ years of warehouse experience required
- Forklift certification with at least 1 year of experience operating forklifts
- Experience using RF scanners for shipping and inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials
- Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions in the warehouse
- Dependable, safety-focused, and motivated team player
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for 8–10 hours per day
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
- Ability to bend, push, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
- Must be able to safely operate a forklift on a daily basis
