Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license and/or required educator certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred (Clinical Fellows also encouraged to apply)
- Previous experience in a school setting strongly valued; candidates with relevant pediatric experience are also considered
- Strong skills in collaboration, communication, and organization
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and evaluations for students with communication challenges
- Develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals tailored to students’ needs
- Deliver both direct and consultative speech-language therapy in an elementary school environment
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
- Engage actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP discussions
- Partner with educators, families, and fellow specialists to support holistic student success
- Monitor ongoing progress and adapt intervention strategies as necessary to maximize outcomes
