**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic hospitality leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for people, sweets and coffee, with the ability to handle various tasks and lead by example. Bombshell Treat Bar is more than just an ice cream shop. **Responsibilities:**
- Oversee FOH operations throughout each shift. Be a leader with a team-centric attitude. Display a positive work ethic and set good examples. Treat employees with kindness and respect.
- Carefully assemble and serve all Bombshell menu items, including our signature ice cream treats and espresso-based coffee drinks. Enhance the guest experience by making product/flavor recommendations - and upselling.
- Help less experienced team members become comfortable and proficient with all FOH responsibilities.
- Closely follow opening and closing procedures and hold all team members accountable for their fair share of the required work.
- Ensure accurate use of our POS system. Manage cash drawer throughout shift. Confidently issue and redeem gift certificates/cards, and make sure fellow team members understand and implement the process.
- Troubleshoot when necessary. Support staff as they navigate more complicated transactions / employee and customer interactions.
- Ensure appropriate stock levels, monitor expiration dates, change out product when necessary, and keep BOH abreast of any re-ordering needs.
- Prioritize cleanliness before, during and after service. Consistently sanitize work spaces and indoor/outdoor dining areas.
- Deep clean post-shift and ensure the counter is restocked and ready for the next shift supervisor to lead with success.
**Requirements:**
- Prior supervisor experience a must. You will be overseeing a team of younger professionals / students who will be looking to you for guidance, leadership and support.
- A minimum of 2 years in food service.
- Strong customer service skills with a naturally outgoing demeanor.
- At least 20 years of age.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Manager ServSafe certification and Allergen certification.
- Confidence working independently. Opening and closing the store on your own will be expected.
- Culinary background or interest is a plus.
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
