Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Stylist to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Provide a range of hair styling services including cutting, coloring, and treatments.
- Maintain sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations.
- Use salon software for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
- Assist with front desk operations, including greeting clients and managing retail sales.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and understand their preferences.
- Apply color theory knowledge to achieve desired results for clients.
- Engage in upselling retail products that complement services provided.
- Manage store operations effectively, ensuring a smooth workflow within the salon.
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license required.
- Proven experience in hair styling, with a portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Knowledge of hair care products, color theory, and techniques related to hairstyling.
- Familiarity with salon software systems.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on client satisfaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Experience in retail sales is advantageous, along with knowledge of retail math principles.
