General : This office-based position involves the coordination of day-to-day warehouse operations. Working closely with the Sales and Operations Teams, you will support warehouse management by maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing materials and equipment, and supporting field technicians with timely deliveries and stock control. You will help maintain optimal stock levels and maintain precise records, delivering high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all warehouse activities.

Compensation : The salary range for this position is dependent on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. The final salary offer will be determined during the hiring process.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution of parts and materials.
- ·Receive incoming shipments, including unpacking and routing materials to the appropriate location.
- Inspect and verify shipment contents against packing slips, purchase orders, etc.
- Record shipment and receiving data, including damages or discrepancies, and process returns.
- Pick up and deliver parts, materials, and equipment to job sites or the warehouse as needed.
- Perform regular audits and maintain inventory control systems for job costing and accountability purposes.
- Manage precise stock levels of parts and materials (sensors, relays, etc.) using inventory management software to prevent stockouts or over-purchasing.
- Conduct all over-the-counter sales (inside sales), including drop shipping, verifying credit accounts, and providing credit applications to new customers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, and optimize warehouse layout to improve flow and storage density.
- Manage vendor and contract relationships with material handlers, equipment suppliers, and service providers.
- Communicate regularly with the Sales and Operations teams regarding inventory discrepancies, stock levels, and process improvements, ensuring timely shipments and satisfaction of customer agreements.
- Assist with other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the BAS or construction industry.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong conflict resolution and interpersonal skills to manage vendor and customer issues professionally.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid written and verbal communication for reporting, training, and interdepartmental coordination.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and experience using basic inventory management software to track, organize, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements necessary to receive, pick, pack, ship, and move materials throughout the warehouse, including, but not limited to, standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, climbing ladders, cutting wire, and lifting materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- OSHA 10 certification and knowledge of safety regulations and hazard prevention.
- Experience driving a box truck and possession of a valid DOT Medical Card (required for box truck operation).
- Valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
