What we're looking for:
- A can-do attitude.
- Technology experience – at least 25% of your day will be using computer and internet technology. You should be comfortable using property management software, mobile apps, Google Sheets, email, and internet-based tools to document work orders, communicate with the team, and track maintenance activity.
- At least 2 years of experience in housing-related maintenance.
- You reside in the Peoria area.
- You have the physical capability to perform all parts of the job.
- You'll need to bring your own basic tools.
- A valid driver’s license, proof of current auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle are required to respond to service requests and travel between properties.
- A reliable PICK-UP TRUCK is preferred, and a stipend is provided when approved.
- Being available for an on-call rotation that includes nights and weekends is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent and to pass a background screening.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using AppFolio and google sheets with a tablet.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to safety protocols.
- Be willing to learn and improve both your maintenance and technology skills.
- Speak with residents about their maintenance needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
