Job Summary
Goodtron Electronics LLC is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Electronics Assembly Technician to join our growing team. We specialize in PCB assembly, prototype builds, and low-volume production.
Candidates with SMT machine operation experience are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate SMT production equipment (preferred)
- Perform hand soldering of through-hole and SMT components
- Use soldering irons and rework tools for assembly and repair
- Load components and assist with SMT production
- Inspect assembled PCBs for quality and workmanship
- Follow assembly instructions and work orders
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with other production tasks as needed
Qualifications
- SMT machine operation experience preferred
- Experience with hand soldering and electronic assembly
- Comfortable using a soldering iron and basic electronic assembly tools
- Ability to read assembly drawings or work instructions
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Yamaha SMT machines
- PCB assembly or electronics manufacturing experience
- Rework and repair experience
- IPC certification is a plus (not required)
