We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Lead Barista to join our vibrant café team! Duties
- Lead daily café operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality beverage preparation
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages with precision, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks
- Oversee the training and mentoring of team members in food handling, beverage service, POS operation, and customer interaction
- Manage retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Ensure cleanliness and food safety standards are maintained throughout the café environment
- Process cash transactions efficiently while balancing registers at shift end
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere by providing outstanding customer service and resolving any guest concerns promptly
Experience
- MUST HAVE Proven barista experience with a strong understanding of espresso preparation and beverage service techniques
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a café or food service setting preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Solid knowledge of retail sales transactions, cash handling, and cashiering procedures
- Experience in food safety practices and food handling regulations within the food industry
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and team collaboration
