We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Mechanic-Manager to oversee our maintenance and repairs. Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of mechanics to perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections on a variety of trucks, hot oilers, high pressure pump trucks, anchor setting trucks, wireline units, vacuum trucks, crude oil trucks and tankers licensed to haul non-hazardous liquid waste and crude oil and well servicing equipment including rigs.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, industry standards, DOT Regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with operations teams to prioritize repairs, schedule maintenance tasks efficiently, and minimize operational disruptions.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and equipment status.
- Foster a safety-first environment by conducting regular safety training sessions and ensuring all team members follow proper procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy trucks and equipment maintenance or repairs, with demonstrated leadership capabilities as a Lead Mechanic or similar position.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Strong communication and management skills to coordinate with various locations and convey information clearly.
- Relevant certifications for Mechanics are preferred; familiarity with heavy trucks and equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
