Job Title: Logistics Coordinator (WH Inbound & Outbound Freight)
Contract Period: 1 year
Working Location: Dalton, GA 30721
Work Hours: 8:30am ~ 5:30pm
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–3 years of warehouse, logistics, or transportation coordination experience preferred
- Experience with WMS, ERP, or shipping systems preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and basic computer systems
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability
Key Responsibilities
- Inbound Operations:
- Coordinate daily inbound shipments and receiving schedules
- Verify shipping documents, packing lists, and delivery information
- Monitor unloading activities and ensure accurate receiving transactions
- Communicate with carriers, vendors, and customers regarding inbound status
- Report receiving discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records within WMS/ERP systems
- Outbound Operations:
- Coordinate outbound shipment schedules and carrier appointments
- Prepare shipping documentation including BOL, labels, and shipment reports
- Ensure orders are processed, picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time
- Communicate shipment status and delivery updates to customers and internal teams
- Monitor outbound performance and resolve shipping issues promptly
- Support routing, load planning, and transportation coordination
- Operational Support:
- Maintain daily operational reports and shipment tracking logs
- Coordinate with warehouse supervisors and operational teams to support workflow efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety policies, and customer requirements
- Support inventory control and cycle count activities when needed
- Assist with issue resolution related to inventory, transportation, or customer claims
- Provide administrative and operational support for warehouse activities
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
