Job Description:
We are seeking a CAD Drafter to create accurate kitchen countertop layouts based on laser templates and prepare files for CNC fabrication. The ideal candidate will have experience in drafting for stone, solid surface, or similar materials, and familiarity with CNC machine operations is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Use CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) to draft precise kitchen countertop layouts.
- Convert laser templates into detailed fabrication drawings.
- Prepare and program layouts for CNC saw cutting.
- Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and project managers to ensure drawings meet specifications and production requirements.
- Maintain and update standard drawing templates and libraries.
- Revise and update existing drawings as project changes occur.
- Ensure all drawings comply with company and industry standards for accuracy and quality.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD required; SolidWorks or similar is a plus).
- Experience in countertop, cabinetry, or millwork drafting preferred.
- Understanding of CNC programming and fabrication processes a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret laser templates and field measurements.
