Role Summary
Part-Time Teachers lead Ritual classes and assist in maintaining the studio space. They are responsible for delivering exceptional yoga experiences, building student relationships, and supporting studio success through engagement and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- People
- Operate within Ritual Cultural guidelines, being collaborative and solutions-focused
- Provide feedback and guidance to assistants
- Build relationships with students
- Take Ritual classes to support teaching crew and community
- Product
- Teach Ritual Yin classes based on peak pose and intention
- Prepare a unique sequence, playlist, and class plan for each teaching day
- Lead assistants and offer hands-on feedback
- Conduct private sessions as scheduled
- Operations
- Submit consistent weekly availability monthly
- Secure shift coverage when needed
- Participate in studio operations including laundry, cleaning, and check-ins
- Finance
- Promote studio offerings such as memberships, class packs, and workshops
- Engage with students to drive conversions and bookings
- Post on Ritual’s social accounts once per teaching shift
- Participate in any studio tasks as assigned
Performance Metrics
- Teaching with quality, creativity and consistency
- Private sessions booked
- Studio engagement and participation in tasks
- Sales metrics: memberships, workshops, class packs, retails, private sessions
Compensation & Bonus Structure
Schedule & Availability
- Up to 20 hours per week, based on studio needs
- REQUIRED AVAILABILITY: One full weekend day plus two weekdays
Expectations
- Maintain Ritual standards and student experience
- Communicate consistently with studio leadership
- Arrive on time, prepared, and in Ritual wardrobe
- Support crew needs during each shift
