Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled, professional, and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to join our wellness and aesthetic team. The RN will provide IV hydration therapy, vitamin infusions, and approved injectable treatments while delivering an exceptional, safe, and personalized patient experience.
The ideal candidate is clinically confident, detail-oriented, personable, and passionate about wellness, aesthetics, and preventive health.
Pay based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient intake, health history review, and pre-treatment assessments.
- Administer IV hydration, vitamin infusions, and other approved IV therapies in accordance with established protocols.
- Administer approved injectable treatments within the RN's scope of practice, training, and applicable state regulations.
- Obtain appropriate consent and educate patients regarding treatments, expected effects, potential risks, and aftercare.
- Assess patients before, during, and after treatments and recognize potential adverse reactions or complications.
- Establish and maintain IV access using appropriate aseptic technique.
- Accurately document assessments, treatments, medications, supplies, and patient responses in the medical record.
- Follow medication storage, preparation, administration, infection-control, and safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment environment.
- Provide professional, compassionate customer service and help patients feel comfortable throughout their visit.
- Communicate appropriately with the medical director or other supervising providers regarding patient concerns, contraindications, or adverse events.
- Maintain current knowledge of IV therapies, injectable treatments, wellness services, and applicable clinical standards.
- Assist with inventory management, supply organization, and maintaining adequate treatment-room supplies.
- Follow all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and facility policies
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Hepatitis B Vaccination
- IV insertion and infusion experience required.
- Experience with wellness, IV hydration, aesthetics, urgent care, emergency medicine, ICU or similar clinical settings preferred.
- Experience administering injectable therapies preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient-education skills.
- Excellent communication, professionalism, and customer-service skills.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a medical director or supervising provider.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
