Teach Life Skills. Empower Independence. Change Lives.
Every day, people with developmental disabilities navigate situations involving personal safety, communication, relationships, and independent living. At GET SAFE, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to build the confidence and practical skills needed to live safer, more empowered lives.
As a Developmental Disabilities Skills Trainer – known internally as an Advocacy & Training Specialist (ATS) –you’ll work one-on-one with clients in their homes and communities, teaching practical life skills that foster confidence, independence, and self-advocacy.
Our ATSs are not caregivers or case managers. They are educators, coaches, and advocates who empower clients through individualized, hands-on learning experiences. Rather than doing things for clients, you’ll work alongside them – teaching, practicing, and reinforcing the real-world skills they need to thrive.
If you’re looking for meaningful work where you can build lasting relationships, grow professionally, and make a genuine difference every day, we’d love to meet you!
