We are seeking a dedicated and experienced MST (Multisystemic Therapy) Supervisor to lead our 3rd MST clinical team in delivering high-quality mental health and behavioral care services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical supervision, behavioral health, and community-based interventions, with a focus on supporting individuals with diverse needs, including developmental disabilities, co-occurring disorders, and neurodevelopmental conditions. As an MST Supervisor, you will oversee treatment planning, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster a collaborative environment that promotes client-centered care and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to MST therapists and support staff, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, and behavioral management techniques.
- Oversee intake assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing case management for clients across various settings including home, community, and hospital environments.
- Lead clinical team meetings to coordinate care strategies, monitor progress, and address complex cases involving mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and co-occurring disorders.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation within electronic health records (EHR) systems while safeguarding patient confidentiality.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD coding standards and ICD-9/10 classifications to inform treatment approaches.
- Manage crisis intervention efforts and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety during emergencies or behavioral escalations.
- Promote culturally competent care by working effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and engaging families in treatment processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in behavioral health or mental health counseling with a focus on child & family counseling, addiction counseling, or neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Supervising experience in clinical settings with a strong understanding of clinical team leadership principles.
- Expertise in motivational interviewing, social work practices, group therapy facilitation, and psychotherapy techniques tailored for pediatric populations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, ICD coding standards, and electronic health records (EHR) systems such as EMR/EHR platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention strategies.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays using applied behavior analysis (ABA) or behavior management methods.
- Strong case management skills combined with the ability to conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
