Franklin County Technical School is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support students in grades 912 in a vocational-technical setting. This role includes inclusion support, small group instruction, academic assessment, and IEP development and implementation.Responsibilities: Provide inclusion support in academic and vocational classrooms in collaboration with general education and technical instructorsDeliver small group instruction aligned to IEP goals, including academic and executive functioning supportConduct academic assessments and use data to inform instruction and IEP developmentDevelop, write, and implement compliant IEPs and maintain progress monitoringServe as a case manager, including family communication and coordination of servicesParticipate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and eligibility determinationsImplement accommodations and modifications across classroom and shop settingsSupport student transition planning, self-advocacy, and postsecondary readinessIt is the policy of the Franklin County Technical School not to discriminate on the basis of sex, race, religion, age, sexual orientation, creed, color, national origin, or handicap in its educational programs, activities or employment practices.
