Overview
We are seeking an experienced operations manager for window manufacturing. Preferably someone who has experience manufacturing windows, using manufacturing equipment, and managing employees. The pay depends on experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the window manufacturing facility to ensure production goals, quality standards, and deadlines are met.
- Manage and supervise production staff, including scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Manage inventory systems to maintain accurate stock levels and facilitate inventory control.
- Coordinate with purchasing, inventory, and warehouse teams to maintain proper material flow and production readiness.
- Oversee the operation of forklift equipment and other mechanical tools, ensuring proper usage and adherence to OSHA safety standards.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards, ensuring all team members are trained in safe materials handling and heavy lifting procedures.
- Coordinate and communicate with other employees, administration, and higher management.
Requirements
- Proven experience with window/glass manufacturing.
- Experience leading and managing a team.
- Experience using production machinary/tools.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems, warehouse management systems, and logistics operations.
- Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment, such as forklifts and other materials handling machinery.
- Valid forklift certification and familiarity with OSHA safety standards are highly desirable.
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
