Job Description:
As a Production Assistant you are excellent with time management and can handle a variety of duties simultaneously. This role works cross-functionally with design and production. You are responsible for having strong organizational and communication skills and following up with all the duties assigned by the design department.
Responsibilities:
Sample Management
- Coordinate the sample development process, including requesting, receiving, and logging samples
- Track sample status across fittings, revisions, and approvals
- Organize and maintain the sample room or inventory
- Prepare samples for fittings, presentations, or shipment
Production Tracking
- Track production orders from initial placement through final delivery
- Maintain and update production calendars and timelines
- Monitor each stage of production to ensure deadlines are met
- Flag delays or issues to production managers and relevant teams
Quality Control Support
- Assist with quality inspections and review of incoming goods
- Document quality issues and help coordinate resolutions
- Ensure products meet brand specifications and standards
Administrative Support
- Schedule and prepare for fit sessions and production meetings
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
- Handle general administrative tasks supporting the production team
Key Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of clothing terminology and garment construction
- Familiar with production timelines and quality control processes
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
- Able to manage multiple styles and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in both English and Korean, written and verbal
Education & Experience
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion, Fashion Design, or related fields
- 1-2+ Years experience as a Production Assistant
- Experience working in a wholesale or retail apparel
