As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide compassionate, non-medical support to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain independence and quality of life. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- CNA to assist and train patients/clients and families in activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, skin care, oral hygiene, toileting, and ensuring adequate nutritional intake.
- CNA to promote a safe environment by maintaining unobstructed pathways while providing care.
- CNA to assist with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
- Support incidental/instructional activities of daily living, including shopping, meal preparation, socialization, homemaking, and maintaining a clean, safe physical environment.
- CNA to provide medication reminders as needed.
- CNA to adhere to assignment sheets/service plans, performing only the tasks assigned.
- Accurately document observations, activities, and services provided in a timely manner.
- CNA to recognize, report, and document any changes in patient/client condition and safety concerns to a supervisor.
- Respect and honor patient rights at all times.
- Maintain a professional appearance and a positive, courteous demeanor while performing tasks.
Background Checks:
A criminal history background check and sex offender registry check will be required for the finalist under consideration for this position.
