After Care Teacher - Early Childhood Teacher (ECT)
This position is a part-time hourly position of approximately 15 hours per week when school is in session. Must be available to work between 2:15 pm – 6:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Essential Job Functions:
- Ensure the safety and security of students and staff at all times
- Ensure daily activities are running according to safety and licensing protocols
- Ensure supplies and snacks are distributed to children
- Assist in other student areas as directed by the Aftercare Coordinator
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Supervising the children with their safety at the forefront.
- Assisting in the planning and preparing of the child care environment, setting up the environment, and preparing needed materials and supplies.
- Supporting the general housekeeping tasks needed in the environment.
- Maintaining professional attitude and collaboration with colleagues.
- Serve snacks to children daily.
- Attending and completing all recommended training to meet state and health department licensing requirements prior to their first day of employment.
- Maintain ratios at all times in accordance with licensing requirements.
- Maintain best practices for body safety and sex abuse prevention according to training protocols

Job Type: Part-time, Contract

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Childcare: 2 years plus (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) Certification (Required)
- CPR & First Aid Certification (Preferred or willing to obtain fall 2025)
