Come join our fun and energetic team !! No nights, No weekends, No holidays!! North Texas Team Care Surgery Center is a full service ambulatory outpatient facility. We are state licensed, Medicare certified, and AAAHC accredited. We are an independently owned and operated 4 OR facility looking for an EXPERIENCED REGISTERED NURSE OR CIRCULATOR. We have approximately 20 surgeons with a range of specialties including orthopedics, podiatry, urology, general surgery, ENT, pain, neuro, and GI.
Hours vary Monday thru Friday...no nights, no call, no weekends, and no holidays.
HOURS:
Full Time, M-F hours vary 6am - 5pm
Between 32-40 hours per week
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Included, but are not limited to:
- Circulates and scrubs for surgical procedures as assigned.
- Provides communication between team members in the surgical field and persons outside the operating room.
- Confirms surgical site with patient and surgeon.
- Maintains sterile environment during the surgical procedure.
- Conducts and documents sponge/sharps and instrument counts as required during the surgical procedure in conjunction with the OR technician.
- Completes intraoperative documentation of the procedure.
- Acts as patient advocate during their stay in the operating room.
- Assists with room turnover, including disposal of trash and linen, cleaning of OR table and floor, assembly and opening of sterile supplies.
- Works in other departments as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of operating room nursing experience required.
- Scrubbing experience a plus, but not required
- Current Texas RN license
- ACLS, PALS, BLS certification
- Detail-oriented -- quality and precision-focused
- Stable -- traditional, stable, strong processes
- Team-oriented -- cooperative and collaborative
