IDR is seeking a Director of Revenue Cycle to join one of our top clients for a hybrid opportunity in Tennessee. This role offers the chance to lead and optimize revenue cycle operations within a dynamic healthcare organization focused on value-based care. The director will collaborate across departments to enhance financial outcomes and patient experiences.
Position Overview for the Director of Revenue Cycle:

Oversee revenue cycle operations, including insurance verification, charge capture, billing, payments, collections, and denial management.

Develop and implement scalable operating procedures, policies, internal controls, and compliance frameworks.

Ensure all revenue cycle processes adhere to federal/state regulations, payer requirements, and coding standards (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).

Define, monitor, and analyze key revenue cycle KPIs to identify opportunities for process improvements.

Lead, mentor, and manage a team across the revenue cycle function, including training and performance management.
Requirements for the Director of Revenue Cycle:

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.

7+ years of experience in claims operations management and revenue cycle.

Demonstrated experience managing and scaling a revenue cycle team in a complex healthcare environment.

Excellent verbal communication skills both in person and over the phone.

Working knowledge of ICD-10, HCPCS, and CPT coding along with Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party billing guidelines.
