Athletic Training Coach Specializing in Freerunning, Parkour, Rock Climbing, Gymnastics, and Mixed Martial Arts
The Athletic Training Coach is responsible for delivering high-quality movement training to athletes of all ages across multiple disciplines. This role goes beyond teaching technique — you're developing people. You coach with intent, adapt to each athlete's level, and create an environment where kids, teens, and adults push their limits safely and come back wanting more. Must have previous parkour coaching experience.
Coaches lead group classes, run private training sessions, facilitate birthday parties and special events, and work camps. You're also expected to actively build your client base through private lesson bookings and contribute to events as needed.
What this role actually looks like:
You plan and run classes across disciplines, read the room, manage energy levels, and deliver instruction that's clear enough for a nervous 8-year-old and challenging enough for a serious teen athlete. You understand progressions, know when to push and when to hold back, and you never compromise on safety to chase a highlight reel moment.
You represent FR3RUNNING everywhere you coach — not just in what you teach, but how you show up. That means being on time, communicating well, and treating every athlete like their development matters, because it does.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver structured classes in one or more disciplines (freerunning, parkour, climbing, gymnastics, MMA)
- Run private training sessions and build ongoing client relationships
- Facilitate birthday parties and special events with consistency and professionalism
- Work camps with age-appropriate progressions and clear safety protocols
- Identify and book private lesson opportunities with current and prospective clients
- Collaborate with coaching staff on athlete development and program quality
Who this is for:
Coaches with a genuine background in at least one of the core disciplines, the communication skills to work with youth athletes, and the mindset of someone who takes their craft seriously. You don't have to be elite in every field — but you have to be honest about what you know, coachable on what you don't, and excellent with people.
