At Bayshore Nursing and Rehab we pride ourselves on the exceptional care we provide for both our residents AND our staff. We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join our outstanding and growing team!
Key Responsibilities:
Perform repairs and maintenance on building structures, systems, and equipment.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other mechanical equipment.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to building and safety codes.
Regularly inspect the facility for safety hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Respond to maintenance requests and work orders from staff and residents.
Monitor and adjust heating, cooling, ventilation, and other environmental systems to maintain a comfortable and safe environment.
Oversee proper disposal of hazardous materials and manage waste systems.
Maintain the grounds of the facility, including landscaping, snow removal, and parking lot maintenance.
