Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers across regional and national routes
- Ensuring secure handling of refrigerated, flatbed
- Maintain compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations, including hours of service and safety standards
- Manage route planning to optimize delivery times while adhering to safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and proper functioning of all equipment
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and support teams to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly
Requirements
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight handling and route driving
- Experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds
- Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or manual methods
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and compliance regulations for commercial driving
- Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks and perform vehicle inspections regularly
