The Customer Service Specialist provides exert sales support to customers. The Customer Service Specialist acts as a liaison between the customer, sales representative, and departments throughout the company.
Job Duties:

Process customer orders received through EDI, internet, and email.

Verify order accuracy, including pricing, style numbers, and cover numbers.

Check product availability and confirm delivery dates.

Maintain customer account information and profiles.
-
Calculates the number of pieces that will fit on a trailer – uses load planner.

Monitor orders to ensure on-time shipment and delivery.
-
Review open order reports and production schedules.
-
Communicate delays and order updates to customers and sales representatives.
-
Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and online regarding products and features.
-
Prepare, file, and maintain shipping documents, acknowledgements, and invoices.
-
Assist customers with product specifications, advertisements, and marketing materials.
-
Update and revise customer orders as needed.

Schedule customer appointments and deliveries.
-
Review order edits and acknowledgements for accuracy.
-
Maintain proactive communication with customers throughout the order process.
-
Coordinate product samples and photo samples – makes sure they arrive when needed.

Collaborate with procurement on cover and material projects.
-
Answer and direct switchboard calls.
-
Perform other duties as required by supervisor
