Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for young children during their formative years. Duties
- Assist in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development for toddlers
- Support classroom management by supervising children closely and ensuring their safety at all times
- Engage children through play, storytelling, arts and crafts, and other interactive learning experiences
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences
- Follow all health and safety protocols including pediatric first aid, CPR, and mandated reporting laws
- Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum activities aligned with childhood development standards
Experience
- Prior experience working with young children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying or similar caregiving roles
- Knowledge of child development instruction and early childhood education best practices
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies for toddlers
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) is highly preferred
- Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and well-being
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
