Position Overview
We are seeking a polished, detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist with experience in dermatology and medical aesthetics. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume practice, communicates exceptionally well, and can seamlessly support both providers and patients throughout the clinic day.
You will be the face of the practice - responsible for hospitality, operational flow, patient communication, and supporting clinical staff when necessary.
Required Experience
- 2 years experience in a Dermatology practice (medical or cosmetic).
- 2 years experience in Aesthetics (med spa, plastic surgery, laser center, or dermatology).
- Familiarity with common treatments: Botox, fillers, lasers, microneedling, chemical peels, etc.
- Understanding of skincare brands and post-procedure care.
- EMR experience required (ModMed, EZDerm or BLVD).
Responsibilities
Front Desk & Patient Experience
- Warmly greet and check in/out all dermatology and aesthetic patients.
- Manage multi-line phones, text platform, email, and online scheduling.
- Provide exceptional hospitality that aligns with our luxury patient experience.
- Maintain lobby cleanliness, ambiance (lighting/music), and overall first impression.
Scheduling & Coordination
- Schedule medical, surgical, and cosmetic appointments with accuracy.
- Confirm appointments daily and collect credit cards for consult or laser fees.
- Communicate delays, provider schedules, and expectations to patients.
- Coordinate with MAs, providers, and management to ensure smooth patient flow.
Sales & Treatment Support
- Educate patients on skincare products, memberships, promotions, and treatment options.
- Assist with in-room checkouts and take payments directly in treatment rooms.
- Support aesthetic consults (packets, pricing, photos).
- Track packages, pre-paid sessions, and ensure accurate chart documentation.
Operational Duties
- Assist with opening/closing duties including turning on lights & music, checking rooms, and restocking.
- Ensure rooms are clean, organized, and ready between patients (assisting MA team as needed).
- Help with content creation or filming short clips for social media (training provided).
- Maintain inventory logs: skincare, injectables, and device consumables.
- Help manage laundry rotation and organization throughout the week.
Billing & Administrative
- Collect and reconcile payments accurately.
- Understand CPT codes, cosmetic pricing, and common dermatology procedures.
- Ensure accurate patient charges by communicating with providers.
- Support prior authorizations, lab orders, pathology follow-ups, and referrals (if trained).
- Uphold HIPAA compliance at all times.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
