Duties
- Process retail sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, as well as lottery machine transactions ensuring quick and friendly service.
- Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, including merchandising and stocking shelves as needed.
- Handle cash and credit card payments securely while balancing cash drawers at shift end.
- Support inventory management by assisting with stock replenishment and product placement to optimize store presentation.
- Promote store promotions and loyalty programs to maximize sales opportunities.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; convenience store experience is a plus.
- Strong basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide outstanding customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to perform retail math calculations quickly and accurately.
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and retail sales techniques enhances your fit for this role.
