About the Role
As a Commercial Vehicle Upfitter, you will play a vital role in transforming standard chassis into highly functional work vehicles. You will utilize your mechanical expertise to integrate specialized equipment, ensuring every truck is customized for peak performance and operational efficiency in the field.
Responsibilities-
Execute the precise installation of service utility bodies, dump bodies, and stake beds to meet rigorous industry standards.

Configure and mount essential commercial accessories, including ladder racks, hitches, storage drawers, and mud flaps.

Perform electrical wiring and hydraulic system connections to ensure seamless integration of aftermarket components.

Maintain a high standard of workplace safety by strictly adhering to all PPE protocols and shop guidelines.

Collaborate with senior technicians to refine installation techniques and improve overall vehicle turnaround times.

Utilize power tools and hand tools to perform custom modifications and equipment mounting.
Qualifications-
Fundamental mechanical aptitude and experience with automotive or heavy equipment systems.

Proficiency in the safe operation of various power tools and hand tools.

Basic understanding of electrical circuitry and hydraulic systems.

Ability to interpret technical instructions and follow assembly diagrams.

Demonstrated experience with MIG or stick welding applications.

Prior background in truck equipment installation or automotive customization.
