Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will be the face of our company during each delivery. Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products efficiently, ensuring that all items are handled with care.
- Navigate routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide outstanding customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Assist in warehouse operations when not on the road, including organizing inventory and managing stock.
Requirements
- Proven experience in route driving or delivery services is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Familiarity with operating a pallet jack and forklift is a plus.
- Ability to load and unload products safely and efficiently.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team in a cold, fast-paced environment.
