Sanford Rose-JFSPartners is seeking a Sales Support Specialist for a growing transportation startup on a CONTRACT basis. This role will support the finance and sales teams by managing Salesforce data, maintaining pipeline integrity, and assisting with day-to-day sales operations. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain data across leads, accounts, contacts, opportunities, and activities
- Ensure adherence to internal data standards and governance practices
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies
- Maintain pipeline discipline, including stage accuracy, forecasts, close dates, and required documentation
- Monitor pipeline activity and follow up on missing or incomplete data
- Support reporting needs by ensuring clean and reliable data
- Reduce administrative burden for sales representatives, enabling them to focus on client relationships
- Provide first-level support for Salesforce processes and data-related questions
- Assist with process improvements and workflow efficiencies
- Facilitate smooth handoffs between Sales, Operations, Finance, and Customer Success teams
- Support alignment and communication across departments
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in sales support, sales operations, or administrative roles
- Hands-on Salesforce experience with a strong focus on data entry and system maintenance
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage high-volume, repetitive tasks with accuracy
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
