- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas, following all health regulations
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and disposal to prevent contamination
- Support catering events or special functions by preparing and serving meals with professionalism
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy service hours
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within restaurant or culinary environments
- Strong knowledge of kitchen safety procedures and food safety regulations
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is a plus, demonstrating attention to special dietary needs
- Ability to plan menus thoughtfully while considering nutritional value and presentation aesthetics
- Fine dining experience or high-end restaurant background preferred for upscale service standards
