The Phinery is an interior design firm headquartered in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle. We are looking for a seasoned interior designer who can effectively consult with clients, write project proposals, deliver selections and drafting documentation, and ensure project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Consults with clients on-site.
- Scopes projects and writes proposals.
- Curates furnishings and decor selections.
- Provides hard surface, fixture, and finish selections.
- Custom cabinetry design, a plus.
- Drafts layouts and elevations.
- Window treatment and paint color expertise, a plus.
- Presents design recommendations to clients.
- Creates quotes and supports order management.
- Coordinates installation.
- Provides on-site styling services.

- Software Expertise in Sketchup or CAD, Microsoft Office Suite and Canva
- Skilled in digital layout design/graphic design

Experience:
- Proven experience working directly with clients on residential projects, both related to remodeling and furnishing.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in business, art, interior design, or related field.
- Provide his/her own transportation to/from clients homes (typically within a 20 mile radius of the office). Mileage reimbursement is included.
