About the Role
We are a locally owned, high-performing automotive repair shop in Goshen, Indiana, seeking a Service Manager with a disciplined, analytical approach to leadership. You’ll be responsible for maintaining smooth daily operations, upholding consistent processes, and ensuring quality service and profitability. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of daily shop operations, ensuring consistent procedures and standards
- Monitor performance metrics, financial reports, and workflow efficiency to identify improvements
- Coordinate scheduling, parts, and resources to maximize productivity and minimize downtime
- Communicate clearly with technicians and customers to ensure accurate information and timely updates
- Train, evaluate, and hold team members accountable to established processes and goals
- Report directly to ownership with clear, data-driven updates and recommendations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive service management or a similar operational leadership role
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy
- Comfortable with data-driven decision-making and enforcing standards
- Clear, professional communication skills
- Ability to maintain composure and focus in a fast-paced environment
