Project Administrator
Austin, Texas | Salary Range: $58,000 - $73,000
This position is based in our Austin office and is not suitable for remote work.
The Project Administrator helps keep Lionheart's projects organized, accurate, and running smoothly from project initiation through closeout. This role partners with project managers and principals to support project administration, billing, reporting, and resource planning while maintaining the data and processes that help projects stay on track.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating order, solving problems, and supporting project teams behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities
- Support project managers and principals with the administrative and operational needs of projects.
- Set up and maintain project information within the firm's project management and accounting systems.
- Coordinate the invoice process, including preparing draft invoices and supporting project manager reviews.
- Serve as an internal resource for project accounting and billing questions.
- Track project budgets, profitability, deadlines, and deliverables, helping identify potential issues.
- Maintain project data to support resource planning, staffing, and workload forecasting.
- Support consistent project processes, reporting, and firmwide operational improvements.
- Assist leadership with project performance tracking and special initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in project administration, operations, finance, or a related role, preferably within a professional services, design, engineering, planning, or construction environment.
- Familiarity with project management or accounting systems; experience with Deltek Ajera is a plus.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with financial and project data.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- A collaborative, service-oriented approach and commitment to high-quality work.
Pay: $58,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year
