VBS is building renovation crews to serve one of the largest rental portfolios in the Rockford area — 700+ units
of steady, year-round work. We are hiring experienced Crew Leads and Skilled Renovation Techs who take
pride in their work and want a home base, not a one-off job.
WHO WE’R E LOOK ING FOR
Crew Lead
▪ 5+ years hands-on renovation experience
▪ Able to run a small crew and own a job site start to
finish
▪ Reads a scope of work and hits timelines
Skilled Renovation Tech
▪ Solid in two or more trades: carpentry, drywall,
flooring, paint, basic plumbing or electrical
▪ Own tools and reliable transportation
▪ Shows up on time, every time
THE WORK
▪ Full-property renovations and rehabs
▪ Unit turnovers and make-readies
▪ Roofing repair and installation
▪ General maintenance and repairs
▪ Trash-outs, cleanouts, and exterior work
▪ Grounds, curb appeal, and seasonal services
