Duties
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans tailored to individual student goals, focusing on vocal technique, breathing exercises, and performance skills
- Teach a diverse range of students, from young learners to adult enthusiasts, across various genres and styles
- Incorporate curriculum development strategies that include vocal health, music theory, and performance techniques
- Manage classroom environments effectively through behavior management and classroom management techniques
- Prepare students for performances by coaching stage presence, diction, and emotional erpreession
Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching voice, music education, or performing arts with a focus on creative arts instruction
- Strong background in curriculum development for voice training and performing arts education
- Skills in classroom management, behavior management, and working with diverse student populations including special education needs
- Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate singing techniques, acting skills, and artistic creativity
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages
