Job Description
United Chemical & Supply is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our growing Warewash and Commercial Laundry Service Team. This role is focused on installing, troubleshooting and repairing commercial warewash dish machines and laundry chemical dispensing equipment across a diverse customer base including restaurants, healthcare, schools and industrial facilities.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair commercial dish machines and laundry equipment dispensers.
- Handle mechanical, electrical and basic plumbing troubleshooting.
- Perform installations, preventative maintenance and system optimization.
- Identify recurring issues and implement long-term fixes.
- Ensure proper chemical dispensing systems are calibrated and functioning correctly.
- Manage your daily route and prioritize service calls effectively.
- Maintain accurate service documentation and parts usage.
- Stay up to date on product knowledge, company policies, and system updates.
- Comply with company policies, safety regulations, and applicable laws
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of hands on service/repair experience (equipment, HVAC, appliance or similar field).
- Proven ability to work independently in the field.
- Experience interacting with customers in a professional setting.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically active environment.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Team player with a positive attitude
Strongly Preferred
- Experience with commercial dishmachines, laundry systems or chemical dispensing equipment.
- Background in light electrical, plumbing or appliance repair.
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs.
